Wyndmoor Apartments

"Improvements" are a joke From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/10/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   Whenever anyone moves out of Wyndmoor (which is every month), they put in new smaller a/c units, put down a new rug, whitewash the walls and do some general cosmetic repairs, while never actually fixing any of the existing problems. The existing tenants cannot get new a/c units. If one of theirs burns out, they are replaced with another old unit. There have been a few fires from the old a/c units igniting. Many of the apartments have rotting walls which are covered with multi layers of paint. The heat NEVER shuts off, usually its on from October to May or June. You end up putting your air conditioner on to try and be comfortable in the winter. There is no water pressure. The maintenance personnel and superintendants are a joke, they never remove snow by the recycling bins and barely remove it from the parking lots. Oftentimes people end up walking on ice, trying not to fall. There have been a few attempted break ins in different buildings. The whole complex should be condemned! Its a shoddy operation. Stay away from Wyndmoor.
