to all Wyndmoor residents: If you haven't experience winter at Wyndmoor, you're in for a treat! By now you realize your heat controls in your apartment do not work and the heat is constantly blasting. Take heart in the fact that Wyndmoor gives new tenants new air conditioners (while old tenants deal with the 30 year old dinosaur units that catch fire)which you can use in the cold months to conteract the effects of the blasting heat, which will be on until May or June! Do you love snow and ice' If the answer is yes, you'll love Wyndmoor,where a nice icy film is left in the parking lot so you can slide to your car (assuming you are able to get a parking spot), the stairs/area near the recycling is never cleaned, so you can climb through mile high piles of snow to throw your cans into the proper containers, and while sidewalks are EVENTUALLY cleaned off, rock salt is thrown sparingly, so you get the joy of trying not to slip down your stairs. Oh the fun of Wyndmoor. All you new tenenats and those of you thinking of living here: Don't be fooled by the inital repairs you get. Once you've been there a while and Wyndmoor has your money, you'll never get another decent repair again. Ask the front office about all the apartments that had leaks/mold, and how nothing was done while the tenants lived there (they evenutally moved). Ask how many tenants actually get their security deposit back (the answer is none, Wyndmoor will always find something wrong, no matter how clean you leave your apartment. Do what everyone else does, just break your lease and move in the middle of the night). Yes, Wyndmoor is an overpriced slum, and should be condemned soon. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

Could not have said it better. This place is run by slum lords and they need to be sued and then condemned. Leaving in the middle of the night after not paying rent for a couple of months is the only way to go.

I have to disagree. This place has been wonderful so far. If there is something that needs to get done, its done. So far we have had no problems with anything.

Wow, you must have the one and only good apartment in Wyndmoor. Didn't think one actually existed. So you got the small a/c units that really dont cool down the apartment. Does your heating control work. Mine was there just for show as my heat was on all winter until June, when I had to call the housing authority to complain and have them have Wyndmoor shut the heat off. Oh yeah, I guess you never got to experience the super's crack head teenaged son break into your apartment. That was fun. Broke into my neighbors and tried to break into mine but I had an extra lock on that they didnt know about (and surprisingly, nothing was ever said to me about it). The best was when the kid tried to O.D and the cops and ambulance were there. Of course, nothing beats when they found a homeless man living in the laundry room in Bldg 11 years ago. He was in the "storage area" that was not locked. Imagine the surprise of going down there to use the crappy washers and dryers and finding a stranger living there. Thank god he didn't have any weapons on him.
