Other than the convenience to the city - there is nothing attractive about this complex. The things that I am very upset about is the lack of knowledge of how the $500 amenity fees are being used''' As with the previous reviewer I agree with the issue of the irratic fire alarms, the lack of having a 24-hr concierge, the guest call-in service facility does not work, also, the concept of having security is useless as one need not have the key cards to access the blg as one can just walk in., they proclaim use of cameras for security but thats again a joke.... they dont have them working as they dont want to be held responsible and management has done nothing to alleviate these issues. Ever since Avalon took over now one has to get renters insurancce and even has to pay the water bill !!
The Avalon management is really bad and most of the agents will do nothing to help you with any queries regarding rent or bldg facility. They advertise this complex to be a "LUXURY" apartment but it is bereft of any quite a sham !

Things have overall not improved since I last posted, and this review is on the money. We have revolving-door management people on site (when they are on site)... Looks like it's a rookie training site for Avalon. We lost a good maintenance guy -- which was the only positive element at the complex. Intercom system still buggy. One shift of concierge is inadequate, especially since we pay $500 /yr for this "amenity." The "award" they proudly display is NOT for customer care or consumer friendliness, it's an industry award -- they're good in the landlord club at being landlords!
