I have been a resident of rutherford heights for well over 3 years. The area is very quiet and the parking is good. But that is about the only thing. The rent is overly expensive . I pay $1600 for a 2 bedroom "renovated" apt. I dont think its worth it. The windows are old and the door is not insulated, for a new door and windows the rent is $1800. RIDICULOUS!. In the winter it is freezing , I literally have to tape up the mail slot to keep the cold out. Lately we have had a waterbug and mice issue also. overall the area is nice. but I definitly wouldnt recommend renting here. You can find a bigger place for the same price in rutherford.
