I lived there 3 years.The first year I loved it.The second year a family moved in with 6 people.Loud parties every weekend.Thats right about when the bed bug issue started,the roaches as well.Exterminators came right out and treated for the bed bugs .They weren't able to get rid of them .Treatments went on and on.Many of my neighbors had them before I did.I was told by management that no one else had them(i can prove this is untrue).I was told I was responsible for a third of the bill.(over a thousand dollars)I had to throw out all my LR furniture pictures and bedding as well.The bugs were never gone long and I had to be repeatedly treated as were my neighbors.The bites are horrible .They itch and scar.
Another issue was the loud music .The maintenance office wouldnt do anything for me.They said the neighbors were denying it and I'd have to call the police.I told them it was not even the legal tennants occupying the apt but they said I would have to prove it.(I was told "thats not your buisness")if I couldnt get any sleep
I felt it was my buisness.
Another issue is the unsupervised children,they abuse the ducks and are abusive to each other and destructive.Last year I appraoched a parent about physical harm done to my one year old son and was threatened by the parent.
I cant complain about the maintenance people themselves they are pleasant and efficient but the management is very quick to fine you and not return your calls.They refer you to their lawyer who is the most unscrupulous person I've ever conversed with.
all in all my apartment is very spacious and I do have alot of neighbors I like ,the school is good,and the maintenance people are nice,they even let me have my dog.The shopping is good and there are alot of parks around.on the other hand they have to solve the pest issues without charging their tennants or falsely accusing them of "not complying" to avoid maintenance costs to their own building.
