Overall, I have been very happy with Wynbrook West. Nice neighbors, quiet place to live, country-like setting.

Apartment is very spacious. I have a one-bedroom and the closet space is very generous.

I also checked out Brookwood - a sister complex over on Hickory Corner Rd. The main difference between the two complexes is that Wybrook West insisted that the tenants keep their balcony's clean. At Brookwood, they did not and to look out the balcany there was a scarey sight. This is the main reason I chose Wynbrook West over Brookwood.

Negatives would be that sometimes the Management staff is not very helpful - however, the maintenance staff however (Bill & John) are WONDERFUL!!

The other negative is that you have to keep your eye on the neighboring swim/tennis club just off on the corner of Dutch Neck and Oak Tree. They seem to think that the need to blast their DJ and music every Saturday during the warmer months - especially 4th of July and Labor Day. The play their sound system so loud that you cannot hear yourself think in your own apartment (for those of you who are close to Oak Tree).

As far as rent -- be careful. I last heard they were charging someone $910 per month for a two-bedroom. While this place is a nice rental - for $910 a month, I'd check into a mortgage somewhere before I'd throw that kind of money into rent. And, if you still need to rent, check out the townhouses in the area - they are not that much more and you get so much more space.
