A few major problems

From: -Anonymous-

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2003

Fortunately, I had pretty good neighbors, so I didn't have to deal with many of the problems mentioned by previous reviewers. However, I did have a few major problems.

1) I lived downstairs on an end unit. 3 or 4 times a year, through no fault of my own, the toilet and tub would backup with feces, toiletpaper, tampon wrappers, etc. (You get the picture.) I would always call maintenance, and while they would fix the immediate problem, they never took care of it long term. They told me it happened because other people were putting things like pet litter and wigs down the toilet. I had to replace several bath mats and towels throughout the years as well as buy numerous cleaning supplies. Management never gave me any sort of reimbursement or reduced rate.

2) My upstairs neighbor's AC leaked one time, so I called maintenance. They went upstairs and stopped the leak. The next day, they patched up my ceiling and told me they'd come back Friday to paint. They never came back. Virtually the same thing happened with a leak over my bathtub.

3) I reported late December that my refrigerator was not working properly. (It would go off for 2 or 3 days at a time.) Maintenance came out and told me that they would order me a new refrigerator, and that it would probably be here around January 7. When I moved out March 31, 2003, it still had not been fixed or replaced, despite many follow up calls. As they were checking my apartment as I was moving out, I mentioned this. The man said to me, "Well, we heard you were moving." SO WHAT''' As long as I was paying full rent, I deserved to have a working refrigerator.

There were many things I liked about Country Club, but these major problems really ruined my experience. I would not recomment that anyone rent there.
