I'll give my opinion based on the post by -Anonymous- Date: 8/27/2003

You should think twice before renting at
"Eaton Crest Apartments" They look nice at
first but the flows soon will show up.

1) Getting help is almost impossible.
me> Not true. I have called the management for maintenance a few times. And they showed up pretty promptly.
- 2 times for bathtub clogging
- 1 for leaking ceiling (Still leaking after fixing if rains heavily)

2) Laundry rooms are useless
They just change them to new machine. A small hassle is you got to buy a card to use though.

3) maintenece people are "arrogant"
They were pretty nice. One guy was actually very nice but I think he doesn't work here anymore.

4) If you by accident forget your keys inside be ready to pay $50.00
Actually I lost my key once and got a new one for free (from the nice maintenance guy above). But in the lease says you have to pay though.

4) Managent people are PHONY
True, at least for the lady who talked me into renting the apartment. She acted so differently after you rented the apartment. I dont think she worked here anymore. And some of the current girls seem pretty nice.

5) All utilites are Electric so be ready to pay a large bill
This is very true. In winter it goes up by a 100 bucks.

And I also agree to the comments about:
- windows. My kitchen is flooded when it rains. Also cold air comes in in the winter.
- expensive rent. Too expensive for what you get. The buiding is poorly maintained.
- New bay window units are more expensive.
- the mold thing is true.
- "they don't let u look at the actual unit" is also true. And the thing is the model and the actual unit are very different in term of condition.
- the appliances are old
- Read the lease carefully. They don't let u break the lease.
- noise is not too bad for me because luckily my upstair neighbor is quiet. The floor is thin nonetheless.

My suggestion is "DO NOT RENT HERE"
EATON CREST APARTMENTS ARE THE WORSE IN THIS
ARE.

I;m not sure about the worst but I would recommend against it.
