Here is an abridged list of some of the things I have experienced while living here:

1)flooded kitchen due to holes in roof

2)squirrels getting into holes in roof, chewing through my cabinets, and destroying my apartment while on vacation (roof had been complained about for 2 months!)

3)had to leave apartment in the middle of my lease and move into a new apartment due to termite damage to the entire building (that was about a year ago and that building has not been fixed)

4)my car was totalled while parked in the street due bad drainage, 20 cars totalled in all according to my insurance company, complex still takes no responsibility

5)malfunctioning toilet, which is never fixed despite maintenance who enters my apartment and leaves a giant mess in my bathroom

6)emergency 24-hr maintenance service available, yet my phone calls to the pager system have been completely ignored

In conclusion, if you work hard for the money that you make (which im sure you do), take my advice and do not move here. I would never recommend this place.

Flooding is a horrible issue here, twice in two years the complex has been flooded bad enough that I couldn't drive my car through the water. Last month after a night out we had to park at the shopping center up the road and walk 1/2 mile through water that at points was nearly waist high just to get home and get to bed. Management claims the city is responsible, and the city says the complex is responsible because it is private property. This is a problem that will never be fixed as management shrugs responsibility.

Management still shrugs responsibility, but here is good news! The township sued them for failure to maintain the drainage. I wish I knew this before. In fact, I moved my car last night up to Hope Road because I knew flooding would happen. Sure enough people are standing around this morning trying to salavage their cars. The property sold to another party as a result of the lawsuit brought to them by the township and they tried to dodge paying fines. The new management is not too happy because the judge nailed them with the failure to maintain and they are still in a whole heap of trouble. I can't wait until the movers come in just a few days to get me the hell out of there.
