MOLD, FLOODING, POOR MAINTENANCE AND A HOST OF OTHER PROBLEMS!! I CAN'T IMAGINE IT BEING ANY BETTER UNLESS THEY BULLDOZED THE PLACE!!!
I developed severe ASTHMA as a result of living here along with migraines!! My husband and I were both sick and on various antibiotics for almost a year! MY husband also has developed a kidney disease that has been linked to chronic infections! WE HAD TO GET RID OF ALL OUR BELONGINGS BECAUSE IT WAS INFESTED WITH MOLD SPORES!!
We sought legal advice and paid $500 to have a lawyer tell us it would be a long and costly legal battle. At that point we were sick, exhausted, and out of money because of doctor bills and having to get rid of everything we owned!
SO THIS IS THE ONLY JUSTICE I GET- A PUBLIC FORUM TO TELL PEOPLE TO NOT MOVE THERE!!
IT IS NOT AS IT SEEMS- THE MOLD IS IN THE WALLS AND HAS BEEN PAINTED OVER!! AS LONG AS IT FLOODS THE MOLD WILL PERSIST!!!!
PLEASE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 'S SAKE DON'T MOVE THERE- IT IS NOT WORTH ALL THE HEALTH PROBLEMS!!! (MOLD IS DEADLY TO CHILDREN)
Oh and the management was horrible and blamed me for my health problems!! The mold tests even proved it was at extemely high levels!
They paid off everyone who works for them- The former town inspector retired about a week after we started digging!

If you lived there from 2003-2004 why would you right a review 3 years later. Also I live in Eatontown and the inspector has never changed so I choice to believe you may be lying about other facts. I have friends that live in Eatoncrest apartments and they seem very happy. I was thinking of moving there and started reading reviews and think it is very unfair that some one reading your review may believe it. I am going to visit and ask questions and figure it out on my own. I am sorry but you seem very bitter and if this was true I surely would not be complaining about the $500 for a lawyer.

With the retalitation, no wonder. I don't beleive the town officials are bought off (at least not now) but I think they work with service providors (external contractors) to falsify documents to make a "problem tenant" look bad. One of the maintenance guys told me about that tactic. Problem tenants are not just habitual late payers, but people who "complain" too much. Every apartment complex in the area, you see a percentage with holiday decorations. Not this one. It just speaks volumes as to how much people are disgusted with the apartment community. Just an unhealthy place on so many levels.
