The property manager always had issues listening and refused to send an exterminator for months. Then an appointment was made and the day of the treatment I was sent an email the pest control folks refused to do the work. When I called the pest control company to investigate, I was told the property manager did not authorize the work.

8 units in my building, 2 units empty because they can't get a Certificate of Occupancy. Squirrells get into the rafters, they set traps but won't patch the hole in the roof. Windows were supposed to be replaced last summer - still waiting. Cracks in the ceiling/walls. Railing broken in the stairwell - refuses to fix. Water damage from the outside seeping in.

Property manager criticizes personal belongings. Property Manager sends maintenance guys to photograph personal belongings. They push the limit with the legal "access" for emergency repairs and never tell you when they are there. When you need work done, they drag their heels and don't show up as scheduled.

I have had their contractors damager personal property incuding using surround sound speakers as a ladder and small file cabinet as a ladder.

They slashed the back of the sofa and damaged other furniture in acts of retaliation because I demanded they do repair work, or I was withholding rent to pay for repairs myself.

I have been harassed over the most stupid issues such as I should not use three of the 5 closets. I have too many computers (2). My television is too big.

Every time work needs to be done, they want you to hire a mover to have everything packed, out of the apartment and stored for an indefinite period of time. In 2006 when the water main broke, I had $2,000 in property damage caused solely by their contractors - not the damage from water pipes freezing. I was told it was my fault the pipes froze, but climbed up there with my private insurance adjuster getting photographs that they did not maintain the water pipes. Water pipes broke all over the complex. The water damage to the hard wood floors was never repaired. I was told it was my responsibility to take off work to supervise the work. I was assaulted by the contractors and the police had to get involved.

You will always find unhappy people are the first to write responses and take no responsibility for there actions. I am the property manager and nothing could be further from the truth. I take my job very personal and understand that I can not make every one happy and am very sorry this resident is so unhappy.

Probably due to pending litigation. Something to do with the township and their failure to maintain the drainage. I googles the complex to see if anything popped up and LO AND BEHOLD you can't call court records "unhappy people that don't take responsibility". Pot-Kettle-Black.
