I think this place is pretty great. here's why:
-the grounds are consistently maintained and look lovely
-there's ample parking. the best i've seen.
-the units are very spacious w/ huge kitchens and lots of closet space!
-if Joe, the maintenance man, sees you outside he will come to you and ask you how you're doing, and not run the other way.
-overall, the complex is quiet with polite and respectful people.
-rent includes heat, hot water and cooking gas, which you don't find many places. a bonus is you can actually control your heat, even though they're paying for it. they shut it off during the warmer months, obviously, but while it's on, it's under your control.
-there are plenty of laundry rooms, so i've never had to wait to use a machine. they shut the room down around 9:30pm though.
-the complex feels very safe. i've never heard of any burglaries, drug deals or any criminal act occuring in Lakeview Terrace, and i never see cops in the complex.
-unfortunately, there isn't much space for children to run around and play, but the ones here make do.
-i've lived in two buildings in this complex so i can tell you that the water pressure/temperature control in bldg #8 is not good, especially in winter months. i now live in bldg #4 and everything is perfect. i'm moving out for good this month, so whoever gets the unit i'm in now will be happy. it overlooks the lake in the back.

I was at the Eatoncrest office and was told that they also run the lakeview terrace apts . I asked if i could see an apt there in lakeview and they told me it was going to be a hard task to accomplish because they didnt have anyone moving out and they couldnt show a place without it being c/o 'd first .I was told that apt 25 B was gonna be available on the first of october.they also stated it was one of the best they have to offer in lakeview. i have heard this "its the best apt" everywhere i have gone so i am starting to believe its a tactic they use to lure you in. Anyone know how one is supposed to be able to see an apt in lakeview terrace without renting it first?lol.
