More Good than Bad

When I first moved to NJ and I had a dog, Stony Hill was the most inviting place even if it was way down the Parkway, miles away from my friends up north.
When I first moved in we could not control our heat and it used to be so hot you had to keep your windows cracked during the winter. After they installed the individual thermostats, there was never a problem and I was comfy all winter long. They do have serious plumbing problems. I too would have sewage come up in my tub. The key is that as soon as you hear your toilet water bubble, go and pull the stop on your tub.
I must say that toward the end of my time at Stony Hill the complex did begin to go down. They began renting to anyone and that was a BIG factor in my decision to move. I was also not a big fan of the hardwood floors.
My bldg. faced the route 18 ramp, and on the most part, the noise level was not bad.
I don't know about current management, but after I gave my notice to move out, and those plans had to change due to my current apt. not being ready, they were more than happy to prorate my rent for 2 more weeks. The maintenance staff was good, and I liked that they would always leave a work order to let you know they had been in your residence.
Based on my experience I would recommend this property.
