Don't plan on staying long... (horrible NOISY neighbors)

Well for a start the neighbors are pretty much awful around here! (except for me because I'm not rude, loud and obnoxious, among other things!)
My BIGGEST complaint is the noisy neighbors... I seriously don't need to listen to stupid loud booming car AND home stereo systems for hours a day! (Oh and it's usually at like 5pm to "greet" me coming home, ridiculous!) These people need to invest in a computer not another NOISE system!
Bugs: I have not noticed these bed bugs at all, but I'm in a closer to the front section. I was in the back (called ghetto by the other reviewer for a reason) section a few years ago, I had the worst neighbors EVER! So bad that I moved a block over into another apartment in the same complex! When I was in the first apartment there were occasional tiny roach-bugs, but I have to figure that was due to the filthy (and NOISY) neighbors I had. (They were slobs and there were like 4 people "living" in the 1 bedroom apartment below mine... to be honest we believe they were drug dealers.. and no I'm NOT kidding, dead serious on this, they are gone now I know)
The management is pretty good. They are polite, but I also feel they spend a little too much money making the rental office "pretty" meaning too that they have office supplies I know cost alot more (hey I dont get cute office supplies at work, why should they') I'm sure that the wasteful spending is raising my rent! the coffee and cookies, it's a waste of money!
The rental office is nice... in fact its too nice... meaning its fake... it is designed to attract people like myself, NOT the actual majority of people that ARE here (note I am originally from a upper class suburb, this area is more ghetto-like to me, I certainly don't "fit in" here to say the least!). The people that work in the office are always polite and I know it's not their fault but still it is annoying every time I go in there.
Back to the pest problems I had in the first apartment... they did quickly address sending Terminex on a scheduled basis once I complained... but my bad neighbors wouldn't let them in so it was a rather futile. (But that wasn't the rental office staff, that was due to the horrible neighbors)
Overall... I do like *MY* apartment meaning I have made the best of it via decorating etc... but the neighbors and people hanging around are very annoying. The parking is ok... but if I get home late (meaning even 7-9pm) I usually have to park a little farther than I would like. It's not city parking or anything horrible like that though!!
I wouldn't really recommend moving here unless you had no other option (well if you are loud and obnoxious you will fit right in...) and I really didn't have another option when I moved in. I will be out of here soon though and I can't wait!
ETA: Really the maintenance is only "ok" they do eventually come, but not as fast as I would like. And the showers suck... I'm trying to do my complicated showering and the water is SCALDING HOT.... then FREEZING! This water cycle happens about every 3-5 showers so not EVERY TIME... but enough to annoy me and keep me jumpy and non-relaxed every time I shower.... this frequently ruins my involved shower rituals. (I'm a skin care therapist so its my obsession ;) overall they "yes-you-to-death" I would say.
Eh really don't bother with this place. The main problem is that they have no minimum-income-requirement. That was why I had to rent here but I'm the exception to that... really it just draws in ruffians!
