I have lived at the avalon for a year and it's been hell! I have so many mice in my apartment and managment does nothing to help! The hallways are gross and dirty. You can hear people in the surrounding apartments all the time. The fixtures fall apart left and right. DON'T MOVE INTO THE EDGEWATER AVALON APARTMENTS!!!

wow! that picture is gross! was that taken behind the washer/dryer?? i will never live there now thanks to that picture. thats pretty crazy...please share other bad experiences. are there any good ones? i was considering this place at one time now i am just plain old curious as to the other issues you have there. do the mice travel around the apartment or just stay in one place? either way its not okay. thanks for your time.

gross isn't even the word! I have alot more pics of the mice we have caught as we catch atleast 1-2 on a daily basis. The worst thing is that that the picture is of behing my oven. I can't even cook in my kicthen cause I am so grossed out. The mice are every where. And I keep my apartment spotless!! I find mice droppings everywhere. The newsest issue I have is that I have them in my couches! I'm breaking my lease and moving out this month because of the problem. I can't deal with the mice and the managments unkept promises anymore. The only good thing about the avalon is the location. But honestly, you can find other deal in other buildings in the area. Don't move in to the Avalon!

Usually I take these reviews with grain of salt but picture is priceless. Than you for your time, looks like there was a reason why rental price for Avalon at Edgewater has been going down steadily besides the crappy economy. I actually saw their postings in Craigslist. Thanks again for saving me and my wife from this place.

To address the grain of salt comment; if one could take a picture of unkept promises from management I would post an albums worth!. I do have Trash, unkept common areas and broken fixture pictures. But the well known mice problem trumps all of them, well, except the unprofessionalism of the management. That horror will never be topped.
