Nice place to live but there are a couple of things you should know

I've lived here for a couple of months now and I have to say that I enjoy coming home. Although I enjoy living here there are a couple of things that I would like to share regarding the building management. The first thing is regarding cable television and Internet access. We were informed that cable television (including 5 HBO's & ESPN) will be included as part of our monthly rent and cable internet access is just an additional $35/monthly but immediately after moving in we learned that Korman is still under contract negotiations with the cable company so we're stuck paying the bill.
The next thing I would like to mention is regarding the so-called discount at the local health club they're building directly across the apartment complex. We were told that residents of Korman are going to receive a discounted membership rates but we soon learned that contract is also still under negotiation.
The third thing I would like to mention is regarding the free shuttle service to and from the NY WaterWay ferry service @ Port Imperial. Korman just implemented their own free shuttle service to and from Korman which operates at 7:30AM & 8:00AM then picks up at 5:30PM & 6:00PM. If you need any other pickup or drop off time then don't count on Korman.
In closing I would like to say that Korman Communities is definitely a nice place to live, especially if you're not looking for all those extra amenities such as a pool, gym, designated parking, etc.. (One good thing is that they just added a masseuse!) The management team is friendly, cheerful and professional. For the most part they're also usually very helpful. But what they're the best at is selling Korman Communities to you so my only word of advice is be prepared to ask a lot of questions when your looking into moving here and try to make them commit to everything in writing.
