Seriously, this place is awful!

I have been a tenant of Korman Communities of Edgewater for over a year now, and want to inform others of my experience here.
Let me start by saying that I am extremely dissatisfied with the manner Korman operates this property.
Firstly, the Korman "team" is in serious need of learning some customer service, particularly with their permanent tenants. It seems as if the only people they care about are their temporary corporate guests. To Korman, "making the sale" seems to be their most important objective. The marketing and promotion of this property is what our rent money must be going towards because the security in this community is extremely lax and nonexistent within the building, elevators and other things like the entrance doors are always breaking down, and it takes forever for repairs in individual apartments to be completed. Parking for the tenants is a nightmare since we share our garage with shoppers from the CityPlace Mall, and there is no separate, individual parking for Korman tenants. The worst part is that there is an "Us Vs. Them" mentality here in the community, the permanent tenants are never informed of events and amenities that are offered by the community. There is no effort made by the staff to keep us informed of any changes or disruptions that frequently occur, such as fire alarms going off at various times during the day and evening, or power outages that have occurred a few times. It ust seems to me as if Korman believes that it is solely operating a hotel, and has no consideration of it's long-term and permanent residents. Even the personnel at Korman seems to be constantly revolving and changing, from repair people, to cleaning staff, to the front office staff, there are no familiar faces. Korman at Edgewater is not a community, it is an anonymous stranger to it's long-term residents, and that is unfortunate and unnecessary.
I have tried in the past to voice my concerns directly to Korman's Corporate offices and was met with complete indifference, which is why I am submitting this letter to Complaints.com.
Hopefully others will consider the shortcomings of this Korman "Community" before considering a permanent move here.
