With all her claims of being so accessable, it's impossible to get the manager or any of the Korman Edgewater team to call you back when you have a repair or complaint. The will just avoid you as much as possible. They are apparently too busy sitting around their front office gossiping or window shopping at the mall. The best is when there is the almost weekly building evecuation due to the fire alarm going off, and being left to wait outside. And wait, never being informed to go back to your apartment, and having the elevators locked so that you have to walk up flights of stairs. But usually by the NEXT DAY, the elevators may be in order.
Also, it's just terrific to have entrance doors in the building mysteriously lock, so that you cannot easily access your car for an ENTIRE weekend.
Carolynne, perhaps instead of trying to "sell" this property's "perks" to potential new residents, you should focus your energies on better maintaining this "model" property, and keeping your tenants better informed of the situations that frequently occur, or better yet, try working to avoid them from happening in the first place. We get more info from people getting into this building and leaving menus and flyers under our doors than we do from Korman.
Give us a permanent repair person already, not a crappy 2% discount at Can-do.
And how about a security guard IN the building' Too many people who don't live here are able to get in and walk around, we don't have proper security. My children and I don't feel safe.
The security car in the garage does nothing but park up in the mall area at night and sleep.
