This is a SLUM - pure and simple. I have lived here for almost 2 years and since DAY ONE this complex has been nothing but one problem after another.

We have crime that is RAMPANT here and the management takes NO RESPONSIBILITY even though they portrary this as a secured community. In fact, when I came to this complex in search of an apartment, the management here demonstrated a camera security system that works in conjunction with your cable television so that you can see who is at your door and who is at the gate. This system has NOT been operational for even ONE DAY since I moved in. Recently it was revealed that The RIVER CLUB management has not paid Cablevision their security bill. The KNEW they were demonstrating something that was not operational in the apartments, but they lied about it. The result: My car, along with about 10 other resident vehicles, has been vandalized twice. The most recent time I have over $2,000.00 in damages (Wide ingrained scratches all over the trunk and side of my car). Two nights ago a car was stolen out of this "Secured" neighborhood.

Landscaping and snow and ice removal are only adequate on the side of the complex where the management office is located. The north side adjacent to Pathmark is completely ignored. If you want to walk outside the complex in the winter on this side, good luck to you if there is ice on the ground.
