i lived in the saint moritz for almost 2 years , i moved in when they first opened, i am not against daibes management at all i lived in 2 other of daibes buildings and never had any problems until i moved into the saint moritz, when i first moved there it was a 2 bedroom condo on the 10th floor, it looked nice til after only a few weeks of living there everything was made so cheaply it was falling off like the bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinet fixtures, the paint on the wall was so cheap if you try to clean a scuff mark off the paint comes right off!!! I have bad credit so had to put up with this since i have been renting from daibes management for over 5 years already in the other buildings they were leniant with that unlike the other edgewater apts so i stayed, I ended up moving to a 3 bedroom townhouse downstairs because i needed more room cause i had a baby, and when we moved in there ther was already some scratches on the floor, i had to pay 3000 to replace the floors in the condo because the maids that work for st moritz scratched it moving my bird cage to clean which again should have been their responsibility they scratched it but whatever, i paid it to move in to the new townhouse which had scratches on it and i dont understand if i am paying to fix them scratches to someone can move in why werent the scratches in my new apt fixed' they scam you cause now i just got a letter in the mail they want me to pay for the floors 3000 again which i am sure they go already from the last tenant. And susu the apt manager is the biggest B*tch she should not be the apt manger! we paid 5100 for the 3 bedroom townhouse, which was put together a lil more sturdy then the apt things didnt fall apart as easy, but the parking there was a nightmare, we have a big suv so the townhouse we had was suppose to have an extended garage to fit it in and it did for the first 2 months, until they had to install special plumbing for one of the famous neighbors and that is the only people they cater to in that building, they didnt want to run plumbing through her garage so it went through ours and took 4 inches off of our parking and we could no longer fit in the garage which was already hard enough to get into because someone had a parking space directly behind our garage where we could hardly get in anyway. another problem in the townhouse was the dryer not properly being ventilatied the carpets were always damp along with all the sheets and towels in my house and it always had a musty smell, there ended up being mold in the air conditioning vents that we found out after my grand daughter got severe sinusitus caused my mold and she was only getting sick at my apartment. My infant son ended up having severe upper respitory distress and asthma again caused from a mold allergy which i told susu they needed to do something about the mold millions of time and she did nothing, Christmas eve was a complete disaster ,thanks to the saint moritz my sons first xmas was ruined!! in this 3 bedroom apt i only had 1 working bathroom , they arent too quick with maintenance there i went 6 months like this! and on xmas eve happened to be the day that the ceiling cracked and from whatever was wrong with the plumbing and water soaked the presents tree the water was filling the ceiling going down the side of the stairway and everything we had to move the tree and all the presnets it was horrible, the bedroom carpet was soaked, bathroom flooded, funny thing is they never even replaced the carpets after they were soaked that is just unsanitary there will be mold growing under the carpet too.I lived in this apt til march and mind you even after all the complaints to the management(susu) nothing was ever fixed the toilets stayed not working, the cracks stayed in the walls and ceiling from the plumbing problems, the only working toilet bubbles and shot up water like a water foutain, the front of the building is beautiful but looking out our back window from the townhouse all you see is trash everywhere!! and the final thing that drove me to move out of that building was the banging everyday at 7am all day long , daibes is building another condo building next to the st maritz and thats all you hear all day, my newborn son could not even nap . this place is a disaster and unless you want to live in complete hell for 5100 a month find somewhere else!!

also the first summer there my grand daughter got a staph infection from swimming in that unsanitary pool

I am a tenant of the St. Moritz and I must say after reading this review I am disgusted at the content and the allegations. For someone who could afford a $5100 a month rent for a townhouse I would think had a much broader span of vocabulary. You lived in the building for two years and have a lot of negative things to say and complaints. Also the building is rentals and not condos. If you encountered so many problems with the building why did you stay as long as you did????? I noticed you failed to mention how the one summer when you were pregnant and near the end of your pregnancy, your granddaughter wanted to go swimming. Sue Sue who has the heart of gold went to Target and purchased a tube and/or swimming apparel for your granddaughter to use so she could go in the pool. Sue Sue has nothing but the best interest of the tenants in mind and will go above and beyond for you - that's the type of person she is. You seemed to forget that before you advertised your bashing remarks. I find it very hard to believe that Sue Sue or any of the management failed to resond to your complaint of mold and the effect it had on your granddaughter and son. That is not their practice. It is medically impossible for one to achieve a staph infection from a swimming pool. A good possibility may be that other sanitary conditions in the home were the cause. As we all know, there are several construction sites in the area that are contributing to the banging. This is something that is not in control of the management nor matters who the owner/contractor is. I have lived in the building for a year now and do not have one complaint. As the saying goes - "you can not please everyone".

and obviously you are not a doctor, as you said it is medically impossible for someone to get a yeast infection from a pool well here ya go ANSWER: When the pH and chlorine levels are not properly maintained in hot tubs and swimming pools, there is a high potential for infection, especially to the skin and urinary tract. Providing there is sufficient disinfection (proper pH and chlorine), it's usually not necessary to test for bacteria in a nonpublic hot tub or swimming pool. The opposite to this scenario is that there is too much chlorine, the pH is too high or both, causing skin irritation followed by an opportunistic infection by Staphylococcus aureus. When clients state that they "test regularly for enough chemicals," we need to know specifically which chemicals they are using before we can determine how to help. and that can be found on this website for you people who are interested http://georgiafaces.caes.uga.edu/health.cfm

Thank you for this wonderfully informative post. I was very close to moving there but after reading about this poor woman's hell, I will find somewhere else that shows they care for their tenants.
