Spectacular in every way!

I lived in Saint Moritz for 2 years, and I could suggest improvements, but the solid fact is that this is by far the most spectacular rental property I have seen!

I can't relate to problems that previous reviewer encountered, because my process of getting an apartment was completely hassle-free. I called the rental office directly, spoke with Sue Sue who invited me to come on a Saturday - no appointment needed. They showed us the building, offered a good deal on rent, were very accommodating during move-in: no problems at all. The apartment was ready: freshly painted and cleaned, all appliances worked. This building does not have pests: I haven't seen a single roach anywhere.

I am renting an apartment with the smallest square footage, but it's still over 750 and it comes with a walk-in closet as well as 3 other closets. The bathroom feels like twice the size of what I had at my previous place with a jaccuzzi tub and a huge mirror that spans the entire wall. Having a washer and dryer in an apartment is awesome. Apartment decor is great: the bathroom is beige marble, kitchen is black marble throughout with stainless steel appliances and cherry wood cabinets. Walls are painted in a pleasant beige color. Apartment door is also cherry wood.

The most amazing part about the apartment is how rare it is for me to hear my neighbors. The apartment is truly quiet and relaxing. Speaking of neighbors, unlike the previous reviewer I wouldn't call the building "elitist": other tenants are just regular folks. It's mostly singles and couples, but also a few families with small children. I met the owner of the building, Mr. Daibes - he is nice and not pretentious at all. Concierges are friendly, and Bobby, who is the head concierge is absolutely the best - always very helpful. I rarely needed to get something fixed in the apartment, but when I did I usually asked concierges on my way to work in the morning and it would be fixed by the time I came home.

Inside the building the decor is nicer than in most 4-star hotels: nice carpeting, dark wood, marble and antique style lighting. There is a well-equipped gym with weight machines, free weights and all kinds of cardio equipment: treadmills, ellipticals, spinning machine, etc. Very few people use the gym, I am often the only person working out so it feels like my personal gym. The pool is awesome: there are always plenty of chairs available, the water is warm and doesn't even feel like there is much chlorine in it. The outdoor hot tub is also tremendous fun.

The only major downside is that when it gets brutally cold, heaters can not warm the apartment. Electric bills in February could be as much as $350, and it would still not be warm enough. On average electric bills do not exceed $150. When I don't use heaters at all, bills drop down to below $50.

Other than heat and electric bills over winter, I really can't find anything to complain about. I plan to stay in the building for as long as I can afford it, and I actually hope to upgrade to a larger apartment in a few months. I really wouldn't don't hesitate to recommend renting here.
