My family and I lived here from 1988-2000. From what I can remember, there was a murder of a white elderly women who lived alone at unit 27 back in the early 90's. I was in elementary school at the time and was traumatized as I saw the medical examiners roll her out on the gurney. I also caught a guy peering through the window one night while I was sitting at the dinner table.What his intentions were, I really don't know. My mom banged on the door and told him to run or we'd call the police. There were no drugs around when I lived there. However I do agree with everyone else about the loud noise, kids screaming and running around in all hours of the night. I also remember the cops coming by on numerous occasions for domestic disputes.
From what I've heard from people still living in colonial square, it has gotten alot worse. The only bright side of living there is the school system.
