I lived in the Village court for more than 1 year and the durham woods, village court property management really sucks.

If you have a emergency maintenance, the tenant cannot really contact/get the property maintenance to attend to the emergency. The main problem is that the property management does not pick your phonecalls. they let your phonecalls go to the voicemails and then there is no guarantee that they will attend to your maintenance emergencies. For one of my maintenance emergency, i left 3 to 4 voicemails (on different days) for maintenance and i didnot get any response. finally, i had to go the leasing office to get some maintenance guy who eventually came after 2 - 3 days. This is there maintenance response turnaround.

If you read the lease report, the property management cautions you for making any useless maintenance calls due to the tenants's fault and penalizes big fines for the tenants error to read the maintenance clause properly.

I would recommend to stay from this apartments.
