Poeple in the rental office are very very rude. Sharon looks like a quiet person from face but is always ready to shout at tenants when it comes to helping them with any maintenanc issues. The only simnple reason is that they dont have enough staff for maintenance between the varoius complexes they own--village court, village commons, village court seniors and talmadge village.
Silvia, the spanish girl at the desk acts oversmart. Is very rude. When asked to relay a message to any other staff members often says that she is not a secretary, please call and leave a message on a voice mail.
The free gimmicks they offer to attract-free dish network like stuff is never free. They offer it but dosent work at all. I had to complain and for 3 months no result and atlast they insulted us in the office saying that we should go for cablevision if we cannot wait. I am sure three months is not a short time and my demand was not unreasonable.
The apartment is good. But maintanence people often arrive 2- 3 weeks later and are all spanish. Most cant even speak english. And beware of them-- they do steal stuff if you are not around.
its a very nice place to live in if you dont have to deal with the office staff, so before renting if you can inspect properly is a plus. If you do not know how to do it, beware!!!it will be a maintenance nightmare.
