This is the first place I heard of that charges for maintenance fees to its tenants. The building structure is so bad (has cracks and windows are not weather proof) that air just blows right in from outside. In winter, it's impossible to live in this s@#thole without wearing a sweater. Energy bill is always between $150 and $225 because the structure cannot keep cold/hot air inside.

There should not be any maintenance fees so you may want to inquire about that.The only thing they charge for is if you leave a message for an emergency and it's not or if the repair could have been prevented. Just as an FYI

file complain try this: rchmielewski@edisonnj.org>, mayorchoi@edisonnj.org, these both are for mayor office. You can try "Joshep F" , , this is for garden home but don't count much, due to these kind of supervisors, condition here is bad as everyone knows, nothing would be done by their bosses.. doesn't adding $50 voids the contract, any modification to lease agreement like this additional fee should void the lease , am sure attorney can help you. Hope that helps.
