You will be charged for the carpet even though the stain it.I lived in 5N apartment they changed my A/C and that crazy maintenance guys stained my carpet and they charged 700$ for the old carpet they gave me and if you talk to the freaking manager "" she would not admit that is her fault even though you have a proof and photo graph she would turn the blame on your responsibility...I really had a very very bad experience in Durham woods.

Old windows with all Air leak in the bedroom
Don t take 1st floor ,lot of noise from the 2nd floor even they walk (not because of the people they live its coz of the very old building)

with pictures sue them in small claims court, file compain with BBB and consumers affairs, call ABC channel 7 it's calll 7 on your side.
