I have lived in Edison Hollow South condos for a couple of months now and it is not that much better then Edison Village. First of all, the condos are sandwiched right in the middle of Edison Village, thus you have to deal with the same people. Secondly, at least from the outside, they look almost identical. Thirdly, they are made poorly. The floors are very squeaky, you can hear your neighbors footsteps. You can hear when your neighbor is taking (or turning on) a shower, flushing the toilet, washing dishes, etc. It is a very spacious place, no bugs or rodents yet, but all in all I appreciate my peace a quiet more. I can't wait until my year lease is up to move out. Upside is, the person I am renting from is great, but this is not enough to keep me here once my lease is up.

Think twice about moving here.

This comment is not true. Edison Hollow South is much better; in fact, this reviewer does not sound familiar with the area. Edison Village is from bldg 1 to 8, and Edison Hollow South (Raspberry Ct) from bldg 14 to 19; they are divided by Kilmer Rd; it is not "sandwich in the middle of Edison Village". The people living at Edison Hollow South are different if you walk around to see the nice cars in the parking lots, very clean than neighborhood apartment. From the outside, Edison Village is very different than Edison Hollow South, Edison Village has very little bushes, trees, but Edison Hollow South has much nicer landscaping. From the inside, it is totally different. The unit at Edison Hollow South is much bigger than Edison Village which is much older not kept updated. Edison Hollow South condos are own by 220 different owner, most of them have maintain their unit nice, and I have seen unit like ehs 1731 has spent $8,000 to get top of line hardwood floor and brand new windows, Edison Village just can't compare ... in any way.

I agree EHS is much better maintained than Edison Village, quieter, cleaner, more landscaping, those facing the brook have scenic view, and many homeowners have upgraded their units, with new windows, new bathroom, built closets in living rooms, and many of the balconies have been rebuilt with maintenance free materials.
