The apartments are quite old,rental office & maintenance is just ok & management people are horrible.Just a few of our experiences:
1.When we came to see the place, we were shown an apt, saying this was inspected & ready to move-in. The vents were completely clogged & none of the shelves in the kitchen & wardrobes were clean & the backside of the refrigerator was full of webs.we brought this to the notice of the renting agent & she said she would get the maintenance staff to clean the place before we moved in. The place was exactly the same when we actually moved in a few days later. NO CLEANING HAD BEEN DONE.
2. We again spoke to the renting agent & now everything was suddenly the maintenance staff's responsibility, so were not supposed to contact her abt it. The maintenance staff responded to the complaint only after 3 weeks. The person who came to clean did such a bad job,saying all this was difficult to clean & could not be done. He left the place dirtier than before. Fed up with all this, we cleaned the place ourselves.
3. We did not receive a rent bill for Nov. When we called the management to ask abt it, no one answered & also did not bother to respond to the msgs on the voice mail. When we did finally manage to get in touch, the lady (Kim) was so rude!! She spoke as if it was our fault that we did not receive the bill.
The only positive abt the place is that it is close to the train station. Everything else sucks! The floor creaks all the time. The laundry room is so dirty that u dont even want to go in. Be prepared to hear all kinds of noises at all hours.
