I have lived in a lot of apartments, but my one year at Edison Village was the worst.

Cons: Roaches, bedbugs, no parking, broken laundry facilities, poor insulation (which went well with the noisy, inconsiderate neighbors), and a completely incompetent, uncaring management/maintenance team (with the exception of the rental office lady, she is actually nice and tries to be helpful). The bedbugs were really the worst part and were what finally made us move out.

Pros: Though I have many complaints, to be fair, it was close to the train station and I never felt unsafe in my apartment or walking around.

I know a lot of people use this site to blow off steam, but I'm posting this because I really just want potential tenants to avoid the mistake I made by living at Edison Village. It's a shame there aren't better places to live in the area.

I really thought these apartments were nice and clean. But you mentioning roaches and bed bugs gives me shivers. I am trying to move out of Cloveleaf due to roaches.. and ooh.. if I get bed bugs along with roaches.. I would kill myself. Are all buildings in Edison Village infested ?
