The location is excellent. The malls and supermarkets are well within 10 mins of the apts. Also, the train station is walking distance (albeit a long walk;not suggested during cold winter days). For the most part, safety was never a concern and security does pass by on occassion. The rental office was very accomodating, up to the last day.

The apts are showing their age. You will quickly realize that the new paint when you move in doens't mask the inherent problems. For us, the toilets have been "used" and the sink was clogged. Our windows never closed properly so certain winter days can be unbearable. Vermin infestation is rampant which is more of a concern when you have young ones living with you. Fumigation was too burdensome and didn't accomplish what it was supposed to do. Maintenance in general was just an onerous process; when they got a bad review-they personally go after you. Getting in and out of the complex can be treacherous-I've had my share of egregiously bad drivers. On average, there's an accident on the merging lanes of Oak Tree Road (most people in that area just don't know how to use them properly). Also, parents don't take accountability for their kids' actions-my leased car was scratched from what look like bike handlebars-of course, nobody claimed fault.

It's not the cheapest rent you can pay in that area-look elsewhere.
