I lived in a 1 BR apartment for over a year - extremely spacious. Includes W/D in the apartment, a prerequisite for me. Plenty of closet space and additional storage on the patio as well. Absolutely loved the classy hardwood floors. Apartment mgmt is very professional. Downside - Slightly on the expensive side.
