I grew up in Oxford Arms with my family. The place was great in '89 through the late 90's. Then things changed. The whole environment of tenants moving in got worse. The area started as a diverse collection of ethnicities to just a specific ethnic group. Maybe it's just me, but I always ran into problems with this group. Collectively, they were just plain rude and terrible neighbors. The apartment walls are paper thin, appliances are old, ants and all kinds of other bugs area always present. In addition, the area is surrounded by a large industrial area which makes the traffic horrible. Try following an 18 wheeler going 5 MPH on a 35 MPH zone for years and it will drive you insane too. It's a shame, this part of Edison has become saturated and crowded. I would never in my life move back to this apartment. As for the old lady in the office, I think she's great. I can't believe she's still dealing with all of that after all of these years.
