The apartment itself is subpar. Hardwood floors were in bad shape, appliances were old and didn't function very well, cracks in windows were covered up with stickers when we moved in, porches and front steps were falling apart.
The neighborhood is quiet, especially if you live away from Plainfield Ave. Lots of friendly Indian families with little kids. We never had a problem with neighbors.
The clincher was that Rivendell did not give us our deposit when we moved out. They claimed to have not received 30 days notice of our departure (they did) and that we caused severe damage to the floors and walls (we didn't). We are currently fighting to get back the $2000 that they cheated us out of. Because of this dishonesty, I cannot recommend these apartments to anyone.
