If you've read the other reviews, you'll get the gist of what I'm about to say. First, parking is horrible. The visitors spots are constantly take up by other residents who are tripling up in apartments. (Some cars haven't moved in months. I have photo proof of this.) My girlfriend parked on the street LEGALLY and her car was towed. $130 to get her car back. Note that there are no yellow curbs or No Parking signs on Donnybridge. When I went to the office to inquire why and state my case, the attitude received from the receptionist was beyond belief. They would not provide a copy of the parking policy, nor did they return any phone calls about the situation.

The walls' Forget it. You can hear everything that happens on the other side of the wall. The 1BR apartments also have the "luxury" of hearing every footstep from upstairs. If you expect privacy, forget about it.

Policies here apply only to those that Management chooses to enforce them against. A neighbor in my building has 2 dogs...in a "no pet policy" complex. Has anything been done' Not at all.

Another problem that no one else has mentioned is the lack of insulation in the apartments. I have constant drafts from the patio doors (now sealed with duct tape in an effort to cut the drafts down) and the front door. This just goes to show how cheap the construction of these buildings are. Also the hot water heaters are very small. I don't take long showers at all, and I live alone. At least one day a week I have to take a cold shower.

If you're attracted to these units because of the garages, don't bother. For what you pay, you're better off going to a different complex and renting a garage elsewhere. You'll save money.

Maintenance is horrible. It took them 4 tries to fix a running toilet. Snow removal is a joke. Last year I had to call my Senator's Office to get something done. When they finally get around to removing the snow, they do not put any salt or even sand down, so the ice that remains is a horrible hazard. Other complaints: I've actually had three garbage cans stolen in 18 months. Garbage cans! Who steals garbage cans'' That gives you an idea of what kind of people live in this complex.

I've never used the pool because I refuse to pay an additional $150 a year to do so. We pay enough already for next to nothing.

I did a comparison to an old apartment I lived in for a per square foot cost. The 1BR I lived in in Old Bridge was about 50% less per square foot than here. I paid about 30% less a month in rent, but had that much more space. Old Bridge also included heat, hot water, and gas. Water is all that's included in Talmadge Village.

Bottom line: don't waste your time here, or in any other complex they own (Village Court, Village Gate, Durham Woods).
