Talmadge Village

I lived in Talmage Village for 1.5 years. The apartments look nice, but there are many defects.

First, there is no insulation. The apartment is impossible to heat because there are really bad drafts from the doors. Really bad!

Second, the parking situation is pretty bad. We have a 3 bedroom with three people. We have to park on the street, which would be allright if there was a walk-way to the street so you do not have to walk through grass and mud. Also, you have to hop over a gard rail. There have been a few cars that had not been moved for months taking up the few guest parking spaces.

Third, there is a rock quary on one side, and I-287 on the other side. YOu cannot get any sleep. The big loud dump trucks run all day and night. The cars are constantly covered in thick dirt and dust from this. The quarry is very loud too. I-287 is very loud, as well.

Maintanance is terrible, but I have found that everywhere. The best part is the washer and dryer in the unit and the central A/C (though the drafts from the doors make it difficult to heat in the winter.)

Over all, the cons outway the pros.
