Horrible experience renting from valley manor apartments

I'm currently three months in our new ground floor apartment and this last month has been a complete nightmare. First our AC foam sidings burst after heavy rain storms and water cascaded into the apartment. It took over three weeks before anyone fixed the simple repair job and we had it filled with towels. We also left repeated messages and contacted the necessary emergency repair numbers and received no call backs from anyone. My husband and I also return from our honeymoon to notices that major renovations will be taking place in our apartment to update the outdated heating system affecting other's apartments. This has led to constant (over a week's worth of days) of repair men in and out of our apartment, soddering on the walls and carpet and clothing, sawdust all over everything, holes leading into the hallway and our neighbor's bathroom covered with cardboard and ductdape for extended periods of time, a lack of adequate notice, being ignored to repeated requests for notification, coming home to no repair men in sight and our front door wide open, hostility and rudeness when reporting the problem to the landlord, and the most stressful experience of my life.
Only one of the office managers, Pat, has been helpful at all but no attempt has been made by any of the higher-ups to apologize or compensate us for the hassle and horrible living situation they have caused. Having pets is stressful enough to move when work is being done, but with inadequate notice it is nearly impossible. I also find it hard to believe a mere three months ago they weren't aware these renovations would be being made to our apartment, and I would not have rented this ground floor if proper disclosure had been made.
I am utterly displeased with our experience in Valley Manor Apartments to the point where if we could get out of the lease we would have already chosen the hassle of moving then enduring these renovations.

What about the roaches? Oh my god, the roaches are huge...they are as big as my thumb. I called the office for the extermination but nothing has changed for damn 3 years...I don't think they ever called the exterminator. The office claims that they are not roaches but waterbugs...as a matter of fact, they are roaches. I looked up online...the only thing is they are mainly residing in the sewer...somewhere moist and wet. But it's still disgusting that roaches are crawling on the wall! Roaches are the major vector of all the pathogenic bacteria and virus. Ewwww. Now I'm done with school and I can't wait to move out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst place that I live in!! After I moved out, they charged me ~$2000 for roaches-coused damages. The roaches do not eat metal, plastic...how can they damage the stove, refregerator...?
