I live here for well over 5 years and I take very strong exception with the negative comments posted on this Web site. Let's start with the outside. Fully maintained landscaping that makes the building extremely attractive. The lobby is fully carpeted with new furniture, new wall paper and recessed lighting. The elevators have just been mechanically overhauled, and an elaborate brand new electric fire alert system has also just been installed. New windows were installed one year ago. We've been told that more improvements are on the way including new mail boxes. Management has the police keeping an extra eye on our building and we've recently had a tennats meeting with the Detective responsible for this area. This is normal for mangement's concerns as we often have the Mayor attend such meetings. The services supplied by the staff are extremely adequate, especially when you consider there are over 200 apartments to contend with and problems do not occur on a prorated basis (a little common sense please.) The staff has always been courteous no matter who they were and I contribute this to management that probably makes it a pre-requisite to work here. The noise level is as normal as anywhere else and I grant you that there are exceptions to the rule but the Rental Office has always addressed this immediately. As far as the Rental Office person is concerned, I can tell you that no replacement has ever been better than the permanent woman that now occupies that position. It's been my experience that if I couldn't find that person, she would be taking part in another part of her job such as apartment showing or viewing a problem first hand. Her replacements were good when she was on maternity leave but she has a report' with the tennats that a replacement can just not duplicate. She is always full of smiles and concerned with your request. She even follows up for your statisfaction.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BUG OR RODENT IN ALL THE YEARS I LIVE HERE. The people who keep this place clean are very conscience and I never see them cutting corners to get their job done. Further more, the exterminator is here on a regular basis as a preventitive measure at basement level and is available to any resident upon request. I just do not see that problem. THIS PLACE IS CLEAN. Video taping security cameras would be nice for the parking lot area as a deterrent.
