Chilton Towers: Consider Your Lifestyle Prior to Moving In

I have been a resident in Chilton Towers for five months and have had several positive experiences.
1) The building manager (Judy) is friendly, easily accessible and responds to requests promptly. 2) The hallways, parking lot, trash room and outdoor grounds are consistently clean. 3) The laundry room is available 24 hours a day and the use of an electronic card (as opposed to coins) is convenient. 4) Maintenance requests are addressed in a timely fashion and resolved in the initial visit.
With those things in mind, seriously consider your lifestyle prior to moving into Chilton Towers. I work from home and require solace in my living space. The amount of daily construction in the building is appalling. The noise is so loud that it vibrates the floors, shakes items on my bookshelves, and makes it nearly impossible to have phone conversations (a critical element of my work from home). Construction has begun as early as 8:09AM and management does not provide notices of how long the construction will last or the hours during which it will occur. This has been an ongoing issue for approximately four months and does not show signs of stopping anytime soon. If you have small children, work from home, study at home, or work nights and sleep days, you should seriously consider finding another place to reside.
