Having lived at Westminster Towers for 5 years now, and having read the last review by Leo D., I feel compelled to provide my own review.

First things first, Westminster Towers is probably one of the better rental buildings in the area. There is convenient access to many modes of transportation to NYC, and this is a big "commuter" neighborhood. The apartments are average to above average in size, and all utilities are included. Additonally, the building is kept in relatively good condition.

However, the previous reviewer is perhaps slightly biased in his review of both Patty and Alan. There have been numerous occassions where Alan has been less than professional and has failed to provide adaquate repairs to my apartment. Patty is okay, although sometimes you get the feeling that her saccarine sweet disposition is less than sincere.

I have no personal vendetta against the two, nor I have broken my lease, paid rent late, or any other reason that the previous reviewer would suggest, but the truth is the truth...

There have been several occasions where I have entered or left the building only to hear vicious arguments between the two. This is not very unprofessional, and for the previous reviewer not to acknowledge this (given that they live next door), would suggest a bias on their behalf.

Plus, the elevators are often stuck/broken. It seems to happen more during the summer months.

All in all, if you want an apartment with easy access to transportation, shopping, and even the airport, Westminster is good bet. BUT, be willing to deal with sometimes shoddy repairs, overhearing arguments from time to time on the ground floor, and elevators that go on the fritz a little too often.
