Management is just awful...

When I moved to NJ, I stayed with a friend in Elmwood Village apts. Thought they were very nice, newly renovated, new appliances. So I thought living here would be sweet. I called up the leasing office and setup a time to look at an apt. It looked great and had the rest of the day to think about it.. I called them up on Friday to lease it and no body would answer. Kept it up all weekend to get a hold of someone and no one... Do they want my business or no' I finally get someone and lease the apt.. So I asked for a garage for my car and they pretty much said all of the empty ones are trashed so they have to clean em out.. So I park my car in their management parking lot to get ready for the garage and they tow my car away.. $280...... I talked to the leasing manager and he was so rude to me and didn't give a ----. "That's what we do here". Thanks for the move in special douche bags... Well that's it for now.. Not looking forward to anymore problems. I highly recommend not staying here. Bad/rude management = problems.

Reading this review sounds like someone parked their car in the wrong place and they are simply taking their frustration out on the place where they live. I am looking for an apartment now and I as well visited Elmwood Village and the leasing agent was as you stated very nice and polite and I plan on moving in on 10/1/2008. Maybe we will bump heads one day... you never know.

anonymous1, you should have not parked your car there, they will not differentiate it wheteher you have permission or not to park there, people in the management do not communicate with each other. my check deposit for my parking space was seating there in their office for six months. anonymous2, good luck to you when you dont have heat in the dead of winter, or maybe you are part of the management.AGAIN GOODLUCK TO YOU WHEN THEY DONT CLEAN THE WALKWAY AFTER SNOW, NO HEAT DURING WINTER AND NO PARKING SPACE BECAUSE ALL ARE OCCUPIED MOSTLY FREE BECAUSE OF MIS MANAGEMENT.

anonymous1, you must be fromthe office that is the only conclusion you came to as to give your info of your move in date. Yeah the office has given out parking spaces and were confronted about it and all you get is nasty attitudes and it stinks in the office. yeah put a flower on the counter but it doesn't eliminate odors. Nice heat and yet I complained and got the run around. I asked for the property manager and he was not available all of the month of oct and last week. I TELL YOU NOT TO MOVE IN TALK TO THE PRESENT TENANTS AND ASK ABOUT THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS, THEY ARE GOING TO SAY NO HEAT, NO HOT WATER OR THEY HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO YOU ON GIVEN DAY ABOUT A WORK ORDER. PLEASE BEWARE.

GO FILE YOUR PAPERS AND STOP TRYING TO PROVE THE TENANTS WRONG, WHEN IN FACT YOU NEED A MAJOR OVERHAUL IN THE OFFICE WITH ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
