Oakwood Village

It really is not that bad... From: kb99 Date posted: 11/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I have lived here for about 6 months now, and yes there have been some issues, but over all it is a nice place to live. We had a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed when we moved in, but maintenance came right away and fixed everything. Since then we had a heating issue, a bathroom issue, and a electricity issue. ALL were addressed within one hour (even at 11 PM once). The office staff is not overly friendly, but have never been rude. They even called once about a week after we had our heat fixed to see if everything had been addressed. Yes the buildings are older, but in all my reserarch i could not find a two bedroom, two bath, with a storage unit and a garage for cheaper than what we pay. Parking is great! My only issues is the noise that comes from upstairs. We have a bottom floor with hardwood floors upstairs, which means we hear everything! If you can try to get a unit that is on the outside that overlooks the woods - that is what we have and we love having that privacy (at least on the side that our balcony is on! )
