it could be worse ... if you're used to living in apartments its not so bad. the laundry facilities definately suck aswell as the parking. i will say that oakwood is definately the nicest in the area. i think it all depends on the building you're in and the neighbors you have.

DON'T DO IT!!! Just received my renewal notice...ANOTHER INCREASE...per market value..????..35 year old stove...30 year old refrigerator....35 year old bathroom....and for this I got a $174.00 increase last year...and now another $35.00 increase this year...per market value...my carpet is 17

Oakwood Village Stinks! I lived there for 4 years and could not wait to leave! Maintenance never showed up, even if it was an emergency(broken water pipe). Hot water heater was broken every couple of months. Staff was rude and nasty. We got eviction notices for things our neighbors or someone

OK Buy Me Into year two now. It's fine for me. Sure there's noise from you neighbor, but it's not a townhouse. My nieghbors are real friendly. Management has been Ok by me too. It did take a few calls to get the bathroom cieling looked at, but it's now fixed and better

OAKWOOD VILLAGE IS A RIP OFF WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I MOVED OUT LAST YEAR, THEY KEPT HALF OF OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. WE ACCIDENTLY LEFT SOME EMPTY SODA BOTTLES IN THE GARAGE, AND THE CARPETS DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THEY WERE CLEANED. EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE. OAKWOOD VILLAGE CAN KISS MY BEHIND.
