Rude management, noisy apartments
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/18/2005
Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004
I lived there for about four years (I know you are laughing!) and had to go through many issues. Since I was working in NY and surrounding areas, I opted to live there for commuting reasons.
- Rude management. Especially the old lady who sits in the rental office when you go to pay the rent. Don't try to greet her. Her looks reminds of old women in horror movies.
- Even though maintenance people were rude in answering my questions, they used to attend and fix the apartment issues on time.
- Cockroaches, insects and bugs will be your friends soon you enter the apartment.
- Smelly apartments because of bad ventilation system Don't even think of taking the ground floor. Because no matter how much you clean the apartment, it gets dusty within hours.
- One of the worst junctions in Route 1 is Ford Avenue. Getting out in the weekends takes 10 minutes to be on Route 1 even though the road is right next to the apartment complex.
Pros:
- Commuting, malls near by. Period. Nothing else. Ok. Agree. Trees. That's all.
