I Moved in to Building 11 (maintenance building) in March of 2008, and will be moving out this October 2008 due to problems with my neighbor! first of all i would like to say that i absolutely love living here. my building is very very clean, i have read most of the other comments and i am suprised to hear about the big roach problem. the staff here is excellent, i cant imagine the bad reviews they are getting. the only minor problem that i do have is all of the route one traffic in the morning and evenings. i have only lived here about 7 months and because of my annoying neighbor i have to move! i am being harrased by her and cannot take it anymore. i currently live on the third floor and like noted in the lease i have bought area rugs to muffle the noise. i am being harrased at all hours of the night and being curse at from this psycho for no reason saying "my tv is to loud, or i am laughing to hard" i mean come on am i not supposed to live a normal life' please! it came to the point where i had to call the cops on her! but anyway i would definately recommed this place to others it is great and well kept. make sure you get building 11!!! mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

I lived in Kensington and had the same kinds of problems with my downstairs neighbors. Banging on the floor when we vacuum or shower twice they even called the cops because I had the nerve to flush the toilet after midnight (not kidding).I really would understand a complaint about a loud party but a toilet flush or a vacuum cleaner running seriously get a life. I also understand about your having to move as I'm sure you went to the management(probably Frank) to address the situation as I have yet the management of Kensington is rude, completely without professional ability or tact in a word incompetent so you made the right decision to leave you'll be much happier good luck !!!

what i did was call the cops, and i made sure that i documented everytime this neighbor harrassed us, with formal letters, and police reports. Landlords are supposed to provide a safe place for people to live and kensington did not do that. at first i thought they were pretty nice about my situation, however they didnt want to let me out of the lease or else i would have to pay about 2,000. i told them this is not fair, they did not provide a safe enviornment for me to live and i would take them to court over this issue. They then reduced, the broken lease fee. i feel like i shouldnt have to pay anything because i didnt not want to move i was forced to move. trust me get out of there! i am much happier now, i live in a much bigger place, the rent is higher but its worth it! let me know how things work out..

I have to say I live in building 10 (the rental office building) and I live on the bottom floor. My neighbors upstairs are very nice, yes they bang around, vacuum and definitely flush the toilet after midnight, but we do to-minus the vacumning-we donat have carpet. Anyways, neighbors down the hall fight sometimes and I can hear it but only in the hallway. Neighbors are very nice, and I never have to complain against any of them. No one has complained against me and thank God I don't have a harassing neighbors! I think people just need to realize, its not soundproof and seriously people, flushing the toilet, they need a life! ha ha
