This place is a complete and utter toilet. Landlord is a classic slumlord. The place is absolutely filthy all the time. The "new" lobby, as another reviewer has pointed out, looks like it was constructed out of toilet paper. The common areas are filthy beyond belief, especially the hallway carpeting on the apartment floors.

We were warned abou this place before moving in, but we figured it was only for a few years. For a while it was alright because the other residents were generally nice. Not anymore. Lately, the managing agent appears to be under orders to rent to anyone who might possibly be able to pay the rent. This has resulted in ghetto garbage from Brooklyn, Katrina refugees, and other assorted lowlifes (including a confirmed arsonist) moving into the building. One can now experience rap music, grafitti, and frequent evacuations by the Fort Lee Fire Department.

The building staff, which is always changing, ranges from the psychotic to the incompetent. They lie, point fingers at each other, and basically do nothing.

It also does not help that the local government in Fort Lee, especially the building department and the health department, appear to be totally disinterested. However, the Rent Levelling Board has been very helpful to us and other tenants in getting money back from the owner, who enjoys illegally raising the rent and also charging rent on parking spaces which are legally part of the apartment lease for free.

IN CONCLUSION, DO NOT RENT IN THIS BUILDING.
