It is a total nightmare...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004

I lived in this community for 8 months and now I successfully escape from it (Thank God). My loft apartment has breathtaking mountain view and I loved it so much until January 17th, 2004. Freeze on January 16th caused water leakage, gas leakage and then electricity shutoff. As a reslt, my apartment rendered unsafe structure for human occupancy by city government and I had to spend more than 2 months in a cozy hotel room. Moreover, the property manager, Brenda, asked me to pay rent while I was dispaced from my own residence. To correct the situation and to get rent and security deposit back, I had to see a lawyer. The worst thing is that it happened last year, I heard, and it happens again. Until I broke the lease in April, Avalon Crest was still waiting for city inspection and approval for move-in.
I would like to say this: Never ever consider this option!
