Greenview Gardens

Nice place to live. From: ra.stewart Date posted: 10/31/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   Lived here 2 years and only moved because we needed more space. Yes, they require a sticker on your car and they did check from time to time, we got ticketed because one of our cars didn't have a sticker. Older construction with nice big rooms, a washer/dryer in the kitchen (and laundry facilities on site too), and a recently remodeled kitchen with all new better than base appliances. We never had any serious bug problems. Heat was included and with the two air conditioners you could keep it comfortable in the summers without breaking the bank. Lots of storage space in the basements and we never had any problems with our stuff down there. The maintence guys told me which basements to use, as some get wet from time to time. Any repair/maintence issues were addressed quickly and cheerfully. The office staff was always kind and great to deal with. The maintenance guys were all always very nice. The grounds were always very well kept; the maintence guys walked the property every morning picking up trash, etc. Snow was cleared quickly after every storm. The place was very quiet, you'd never know that you were right next to a high school. Many of the residents are older, retired types who kept to themselves and were quiet. Now for the big suprise, today in the mail I got my security deposit back! No need to call and bug them to get promises that it'll be mailed and never is, like usual with apartments. This is honestly the first time I have ever been refunded my deposit back in a timely manner without constant calls, etc., only to hear lots of excuses about why it was not getting refunded. I would suggest serious consideration of Greenview Gardens if you are looking for a nice, clean, quiet, affordable apartment in Hackettstown.
