First Month- Very Pleased
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/30/2008
Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
I've only been living here one month and so far I am extremely pleased. The staff of SEB have been very helpful and professional. They were VERY speedy with the application process (I found out I was approved only a few hours after applying, and moved in only days later). I got the first month free for signing a 13 month lease.
Our fridge did break within the first week of living here, however someone came RIGHT out and fixed it. When their attempt to fix it failed (i called 8 hours later and said it still wasn't working- they said it would take about 6 hours to "recharge"), they provided us with a temporary fridge while they ordered a new one and a week later we came home and had a brand new one! (the fridges are not full size, slightly smaller- but it's a small kitchen)
The apartment is in beautiful condition. Gorgeous vintage style hardwood floors. It was clear the walls were newly painted. It's an old 1920s building with a vintage style elevator, that works GREAT not even considering how old it is! Neighbors are very nice, but quiet and keep to themselves. We have two entrances to our unit, and a stairwell fire escape with roof access. The kitchen is small, but absolutely adorable with lots of cabinets.
The location cannot be beat!! We're not in the center of town, but not even a block away from main street haddonfield. RIGHT next to the high-speed line (which is not loud at all, I rarely ever hear it, and it's nothing to complain about). The area is BEAUTIFUL and close to 295 and rte 70.
One complaint is the mailboxes are not locked. Another is that their is no dumpster, only a bunch of trashcans (which looks nicer), and they smell aweful, especially since it's summer. Also the closets in the bedrooms are very tiny, but there are two large ones in the apartment
My apartment is a two bedroom (one is considered a master bedroom, but it's not really much bigger than the other one). There is FULL dining room separate from the kitchen and a separate living room. The bathroom is also small, but very quaint and also has plenty of storage space.
There is on-street parking but you need a permit, however there's a free parking lot directly in front of the parking lot that is well lit and safe and you can always get a decent spot.
