No wonder it's so cheap in Haddonfield...

It has been nothing but a parade of problems and annoyances living here. Let's start with the neighbors upstairs. You can hear every word, every footstep, the television, and every argument. Do not live in a downstairs unit if the upstairs has hardwood floors. Midway through the year, we got a new upstairs neighbor for whom the floor was overlaid with carpeting, and we appreciate that.

Next is the bugs. First we had crickets, then we had jumping spiders, then mosquitos, then fleas, and lately there have been ants. There is also a cat infestation that keeps me awake every night with the loud purring and cat fights outside my window.

My sink exploded with the upstairs neighbor's raw sewage THREE TIMES. The leasing office shampooed my carpets, but they said they cannot do any further cleaning. This means that if it has happened in the past, I have litterly been walking around in past tennants feces.

When they turned on the heat, they roasted us out with temperatures topping 90 degrees indoors. Their answer: open the windows. Why should I have to open the windows and run the a/c in the winter time' We had them shut off the heat entirely and we used space heaters to control the temperature. This brings us to the abundance of condensation and the mold problem on every single window. We have one wall unit air conditioner, but we cannot change the temperature. Either it turns on and freezes us out, or we have to keep it off.

The building siding and roofing is falling down from recent windstorms, and I see no attempt at repairs. None of the doors in my apartment close; every doorframe is out of whack.

At the beginning of the lease, we did a walkthrough and provided a list of fixes to the leasing office, but it seems they did not even care. Nothing at all had been corrected. I had to call multiple times to get the simplest things--like a know to operate my washing machine.

My health has deteriorated horribly while living here from the mold, bugs, and lack of sleep, and I cannot wait to get out of this place.
