I have been living her for 9 years. I am sure there are worse apartments to live on, but for the price and space, Village at Haddonfield (Light House Haddonfield) is horrible! Ok well the biggest and worst complaint it that the maintenance workers are completely incompetent! There's some sort of trouble with the pipes under my bathtub and my poor downstairs neighbors get get their bathroom flooded every few months! It's a big pain in the ass to be trying to take a shower and have my neighbors banging on my door because it's leaking again. It's not their fault of course, it's the incompetent workers who are incapable of fixing this. This problem has persisted for 4 years. The bathroom ceiling even started falling apart on my last neighbors because of this! Maintenance also likes to just walk right into your apartment after one knock, and look all surprised when your home. Very suspicious!
The walls in my bedroom are are split in the corners of my bedroom. I could stick a roll of dimes in the biggest part of the split. No use asking maintenance to do anything. Their solution to every type of problem is slapping new paint on top of old, chalk, or even tape.
Every august we are invaded with gigantic black crickets. We also get camel crickets, if you've never seen one your lucky. They are so scary, especially if you are squeamish about bugs. They look like huge spiders and their defense mechanism is to jump straight at you when they get scared. Horrible. But I can live with them rather then have cockroaches. After 9 years I have never seen one single cockroach. That is about my only compliment to this place.
There are too many damn kids living here. Kids are fine, but their parents just let them run wild. There are tons of toys left all over the courtyard at all times. Once we all received a letter stating all toys left outside would be disposed of, but no action was never taken.
Smells like ---- in the summer. It floods under the apartments and it really smells like a sewer here when it gets into the 90's. I feel so bad for people living on the bottom floors.
Too many cars. You will be unable to find a parking spot unless you work an overnight shift or any other odd hour shift. The people who live here just create their own spots once all the spots are taken. It's a mess.
Mail gets stolen.
No one cleans up their dog ----. Watch your step.
The apartment managers are rude, but aren't they always'''

I suggest we all stop paying the rent and call the board of health! Maybe then they will care about their tenants!
